Bricolage is defined as “Construction or creation from a diverse range of available things.” For a month in 2015, I embarked on a multimedia journey of creative exploration. Thus began the bricolage project.

Songbirds: Stories of Survivors is a participatory multimedia art project created in 2020 to offer a circle of healing, empowerment, and sustainable prosperity to women whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence .

In 2009, I created this participatory storytelling project as a way to explore bodies in the context of our culture.
