STATEMENT

Art heals and helps us tap into our creative spirit. As I have found my voice as an artist, I feel called to help others do the same. The full expression of the human spirit is my biggest passion.

I believe we all find our way to our truth in our own way and that we all help each other on this journey to integration and wholeness. I believe your story is my story is our story. Art unifies us and helps us see ourselves and our world differently.

My art, like my life, evolves but is always an exploration of the interstitial spaces, the bridge between the worlds and the fabric of the soul. As a student of myth and depth psychology, fairy tales, myths and archetypes animate my art in its myriad forms.

I challenge assumptions in my life and in my art and allow the creative process to bust out the walls around my heart and in the world around me. My intention with my art is to drench it with love and ferocity. In a class I once took, we were encouraged to write an artist's manifesto which challenged me to recognize what I really stand for. I highly recommend this creative practice. Here's mine.
