“When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That’s the message he is sending.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

you send to me

(And so it is.)
Nobody is that one-dimensional.
Today when I looked in the mirror, I really loved my own reflection.
(That seems worth mentioning.)
Also, I saw this today from my spiritual teacher, Matt Kahn:
Mantra of the day: “I no longer reflect or embody the pain, disapproval, doubt, suffering, or confusion of others as a way of offering support. Bless it be, I am the truth, love, light, and liberation of all – appearing as I AM.”
We can choose where we put our attention. We can choose our point of view.
I’m choosing to look for goodness, love myself and let life flow and choosing to be a living reflection of those things.
And so it is.
I saw something about “reminiscing about the good times” today. Good idea, that.
