B-Sides

Hey Seattle!

I’m going to be in this show this coming Monday. This is is not a warm and fuzzy tale of holiday cheer. This is, well, rare, a little dark, hilarious and highly entertaining.

This is Christmas: B-Sides & Rarities

This is the dark and bluesy side of Yuletide. We’ll be hunkered down in Fremont’s best venue, West of Lenin to entertain you.

For everyone who has ever gagged at the thought of a sugar plum, slipped spiked egg nog to a young cousin just to make Christmas Eve interesting, or woken up wearing half of a Santa Claus costume and no earthly idea of your own whereabouts, have we got a show for you:

• music from Sky Lynn (of Levator), yours truly, Ukelele cover band Superfluous, and Stine and Lyam White;
• some kind of stories on stage featuring Jose Amador, Mark Fullerton, Rob MacGregor, Paul Shipp, Jerry Soules, Lisa Viertel, and Joe Zavadil;
• words from Paul Mullin with some drunken paean or another;
• something from Scot Augustson (we predict either puppets or a rendition of “Ave Maria” in the voice of an angel), Jennifer Jasper (well, s$^%-ass funny is a safe bet), and John McKenna (when music meets the thing you wish you thought of).

Adult beverages will be on sale at this 21+ event.

Tickets for this one-night-only event are $15 and available at Brown Paper Tickets and at the door. Seating is general admission and extremely limited.

Come on out. It’s a Monday. What else have you got to do?

RSVP on the Facebook page here if you like.
