I love this magical little plant. I got a start of it from my sister-in-law. Apparently, the original plant was cared for by my partner’s grandmother. I love caring for it as my children grow. I feel as though I’m watering their roots in tandem with the plant’s roots. 
Today, I open my arms and heart very wide to embrace the new day with courage and love. I am open to all life has to offer me. I am open to the shadow and the light. May the beauty and peace of this moment ripple out into the universe.
