Something I have learned recently that perhaps others have always known but is a revelation to me:
I can say no and still be lovable.
I can just be me and still be lovable.
Nobody has to need me for me to be lovable.
I don’t have to nurture or care for others to be lovable.
I can just be myself and let love pour itself into me.
This is very good to know.
The hardest thing about ending a relationship (or two)(or three…) is finding a place for that person in your life and dealing with their conflict about where to put you in theirs. I have much love in my heart for people. It doesn’t just go away because a relationship has been reconfigured into something else….
